Description

Still the greatest thing to happen since IR remote control. The award-winning NextGen Remote Extender is now improved and we call it Remote Extender Plus. Simply install our battery transmitter in place of one of the AA or AAA batteries inside your remote control, then point the receiver or attach the bright eye emitter to the components you wish to control. Now you’ve converted your existing IR Remote to Digital RF, giving you the freedom to go from room-to-room and control your components anywhere in the house.

The Remote extender plus gives you the ability to control two same brand components independently.

• Works with most AA and AAA remotes
• Receiver has built in charger and comes with
 (2) 2/3 AA specially sized rechargeable batteries.
• Available in 433 MHz or 418 MHz frequencies
• Single-Eye IR Emitter included

A Remote RF that really works June 24, 2013
Reviewer: Ray Bauer from Dayton, NV United States
Purchased the remote extender plus via Amazon.com after extensive research about RF remotes. Have three TV's scattered in a 4000 sq. ft. home. The modified DirecTV remote unit operates well in each location. One TV is over 100 ft. from the nextgen receiver. A DirecTV upgrade from their standard IR receiver...to an RF...would have cost over $200.00

Remote Extender Plus for Plasma interference January 31, 2013
Reviewer: Bernie the Attorney from Spotsylvania, VA United States
We recently switched from Comcast to Verizon FIOS and found that the remote would not work when pointed at the TV, but works when we pointed it at the Hi-Fi nook where our receiver sits on the opposite wall.  We searched the Internet and found that the problem of IR interference was well known where the TV is a plasma like our 50" Panasonic.  I installed a Remote Extender Plus and the system now works like a charm.  I highly recommend the Extender Plus.

Terrific product - simple and reliable December 9, 2011
Reviewer: Tbird from Cincinnati, OH United States
I've used this remote extender for nearly 2 years and it works great! It allowed me to make a clean TV installation in our master bedroom by hiding the cable box in a closet. The device works flawlessly and I'm very impressed with how long the batteries stay charged.  They've easily lasted 6-8 months in our remote.

Amazing, simple, and very, very clever. November 30, 2010
Reviewer: Mikey from Richmond, VA United States
Yes, Virginia, this thing really works!

After receiving the system, I charged the batteries for 24 hours, then installed everything in a matter of minutes. I now have absolute control of my A/V equipment from any of the four floors of my house, and I will soon be ordering another system to control another set of gear.

love Love LOVE this thing!!! May 20, 2010
Reviewer: JRC from carmel, IN United States
Plug and play. Worked perfectly straight out of the box, which is rare these days. I purchased 2 systems: one for a stereo/receiver/ sound system and a second for a Satellite DVR/DVD/TV combo in a different part of the house. Highly recommended!
